ISO 50001 is based on the management system model of continual improvement also used for other well-known standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. This makes it easier for organizations to integrate energy management into their overall efforts to improve quality and environmental management.

MSCERT is also accredited under NABCB (National Accreditation Board for certification bodies) from India for FSMS Certification as per ISO 22000 standard.

About the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies it undertakes assessment and accreditation of Certification Bodies applying for accreditation as per the Board’s criteria in line with international standards and guidelines.
It represents the interests of the Indian industry at international forums through membership and active participation with the objective of becoming a signatory to multilateral and mutually recognition agreements with other countries.

NABCB is a member of the IAF MLA & PAC MLA for Quality Management Systems andEnvironmental Management Systems.

IAF is the world association of Conformity Assessment Accreditation Bodies and others interested in management systems, products, services, personnel certification.

JAS-ANZ and NABCB both are the member of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and a signatory to the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangements (MLAs) for QMS, EMS, Product certification.

MS Certifcation Services Pvt.Ltd. has also signed IAF MLA License Agreement with JAS ANZ and NABCB for using IAF MLA Mark in its QMS Certificates.

International Cooperation through JAS-ANZ and NABCB

A key role for JAS-ANZ is establishing international arrangements with other countries to accept one another’s certificates and so removing a technical barrier to trade.

JAS-ANZ is an active member of the key accreditation organisations including the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), the Multilateral Cooperative Accreditation Arrangement (MCAA), the Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (PAC), and the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC).

A focus of these organisations are agreements, often referred to as Multilateral Recognition Agreements (MLAs) or multilateral Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRAs), that signatories will recognise one another’s accredited certificates. The benefit of this recognition is that it reduces the potential for re-certification when products and services move from one country to another.

IAF

JAS-ANZ is a founding member of the IAF and a signatory to the IAF MLAs for quality management systems, environmental management systems, and product.

JAS-ANZ accredited CABs offering services in the areas of quality management systems, environmental management systems, product are entitled to use IAF mark on corporate material such as letterheads, accredited certificates, quotations for work, advertisements, websites and other documents.
